July FMQ Challenge Tutorial - Angela Walters

D  Es war  ein großartiges Workshop and ein wunderschönes und vielfältig einsetzbares Muster.  Und dabei nicht sehr kompliziert. Deswegen wollte ich mich diesmal nicht nur auf ein Probesandwich beschränken, sondern etwas Brauchbares daraus machen. Vorerst aber muss dieses Probesandwich angefertigt werden.
Das ist mein Top. Ich will glauben, dass es ein bißchen nach Bauhaus-Stil aussieht:

E It was a wonderful tutorial. It was a very nice, spectacular and versatile pattern. And not too hard. So I´ve decided to make something useful out of my practice sandwich. But first of all, I had to make this practice piece.
Here is my top.I want to believe that it looks a little like the bauhaus style:

D  Und so sieht das Quilten aus. Sogar meine Augen einer gnadenlosen Perfektionistin können gewisse Fortschritte merken:

E And here is the quilting. I can see the improvement of my FMQ skills by my own eyes!

D  Bei deiser Gelegenheit habe ich geübt, gerade Linien mit FMQ zu quilten, Am Anfang waren sie alles anderes als gerade, was deutlich zu sehen recht unten ist. Aber dann ging es damit immer besser.

Der Quilt auf dem Foto hat noch keine Umfassung, was bedeutet, dass er noch nicht fertig ist. Stimmt, ich habe große Pläne diesbezüglich.

E I´ve used this pattern to practice my FMQ straight lines. At the beginning they were most wobbly - you can see the first one in the right bottom corner; but of course the last ones are really better. Straighter.

As you can see there is no binding. That means that the quilt isn´t ready yet. Yes, it´s true. I have great plans how to use it.
